Who we are

Egypt Vibe Tours is a licensed Egyptian tour operator based in Cairo. We have been running private and small-group trips since 2012, and every guide we work with is licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

We are small on purpose. That means the person who answers your first message is usually the person who plans your itinerary, and there is no call centre between you and the people running your trip.

Why we publish our price tables

Most Egyptian tour sites advertise a "from" price that only applies to a group of eight, then reveal the real number at checkout. We think that is a bad way to treat people, and it is the single most common complaint travellers make about booking a trip here.

So we publish the full per-person rate at every group size on every tour page. The figure on the card is the rate for two travellers, and it says so. The total in the booking box is the total you pay — no booking fee, no service charge, no fuel surcharge appearing at the end.

What we will tell you honestly

That the fifteen-hour Luxor day trip from Hurghada is exhausting, and an overnight is better.

That the White Desert has no toilets, and that this matters to some people.

That going inside the Great Pyramid is claustrophobic, hot, and not for everyone.

That August in Aswan is brutal, and if you can move your dates you should.

Responsible tourism

We pay our guides and drivers above the market rate, and we do not run commission-driven shopping stops as a way to top up their income. If a papyrus or carpet stop appears in an itinerary it is because it is genuinely interesting, and you can always skip it.

On the Red Sea we brief every group on reef etiquette and enforce distance rules around turtles and dugongs. We would rather lose a photograph than a habitat.
